Form of medicament: Light blue pure solution of liquid to gel consistency used in dogs and cats. Composition: Effective substance – chlorhexidine digluconate 4,5mg in 1ml Excipienes: Glycerole, sorbitole, methylcelulose, lanoline, alcohole isopropylic polyvinylpyrrolidone, propylen glycole, sodium hydroxide, patent blue (col.), demineralized sterilised water. Clinical information: Antiseptic gel containing chlorhexidine used for preventive treatment of the skin that has an effect on the bacteria (Staphylococus spp. And Pseudomonas spp.) and yeasts ( Malassezia pachydermatis). In combination with softening preparations occuring in the product it provides skin regeneration. It has non-irritating, hydratating and non-drying effect. The product is used mainly for dermatitis, small injuries, excoriations, incisitions,outer allergic reactions with pruritus, eczema and bacterial and yeast otitis. Precautions: For external use only. Avoid the eye contact and contact with water and feed. It should not be combined with other antiseptics products. Dosing and way of application: Medicament should be applied on the clean and dry affected skin 2-3 times a day until clinical improvement. Later as a prevention 1-2 times a week.
