Composition: Acidum ascorbicum 25,0g, Saccharosum ad 100,0 g.

Characteristics: Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) is a water-soluble vitamin that participates in a wide range of oxidation-reduction processes in  organism of animals.

Ascorbic acid has a supporting and preventive functions due to Vitamin C deficit in organism of animals in cases such as infectious diseases, bleeding, reproductive disorders, increased physical strain, inappetence, enviromental and feed changes, intensive growth periods, reconvalescence, high age, pregnancy, stress situations, transport, overheating during summer and emaciation. It maintains cardiovascular function and stabilisation of bone tissue and protect intestinal endothelium. It is also used as a prevention in skin and mucous membrane injuries and infections. It has positive effect on skin regeneration (wounds, ekzema, dermatitis) and fracture healing.

Application: Peroral aplication. Dissolve in drinking water, only in ceramic or plastic bowls.

Dosage: 

Mammals: 0.4 – 1.2 g of the preparation per 10 kg body weight 

Poultry: 0.8-2.0 g of preparation per 10 kg body weight 

Exotics: 0.1 – 0.2 g of the product per 1 kg body weight. 

Serve for 5-25 days. 

In case of increased load, doses are administered 2-3 times higher for 5-7 days. 

Withdrawal period: No withdrawal periods.

Warnings and Precautions: 

Vitamin C might influence the effect of heparine and coumarine anticoagulatives and can increase the risk of crystalluria.

It is excluded by urine and milk. 

Acetylsalicylic acid, barbiturates and tetracyclines increase its excluding by urine, corticosteroids and salicylates decrease utilisation and absorption of vitamin C. 

It might influence an antibacterial effect of some antibiotics.

In such cases consult your veterinarian. 

Storage: The product should be stored in dry place at temperature of 15-25°C, protected from direct sunlight. Store out of the reach of children.
