Form of medicament: Ear solution of colorless to yellowish colour used in dogs, cats, horses and exotic animals for chronic otitis externa due to allergy. Composition: Effective substance: zinc gluconate, boric acid. Excipiens: L-lysine, taurine ,propylene glycol, methyl parabene, propyl parabene, demineralized sterilised water. Clinical information: Otologic preparation with antiinflammatory, antipruritic and non-irritating effect. Combined with essential amino acids (lysine, taurine) it provides natural superficial protecting barrier. Boric acid causes lower pH of ear duct that is unfavourable for microorganism development, propylene glycol serves as hydrating substance that prevents drying of outer ear canal and supports its regeneration. It is used in cases such as chronic otitis externa with recidiva, small wounds of the outer ear duct, pruritic allergy reactions , during recovery period, for a long-term prevention and prevention of side effect reaction due to antibacterial therapy. Dosing and way of application: Apply ear solution 1-2 times a day into ear canal and softly massage the base of the ear to allow an appropriate distribution of the product inside the ear duct and clear out the earwax by cotton bud.
